In 1935, Louise Whitbeck Fraser opened a school in her home for local children with disabilities. With the encouragement and support of many grateful parents, she pioneered special education in Minnesota and gained national acclaim for her innovative teaching methods and the remarkable achievements of her students.

2015 is a special year for Fraser as it marks our 80th Anniversary! Today Fraser serves children, adults and families affected by over 60 different physical and developmental disabilities.
